We are launching a new project in September! Together with our new partner organisation in Romania, the Group for Social Dialogue, we are establishing a centre for social dialogue and civic participation in Bucharest and Ilfov County. The project is funded as part of Switzerland’s second cohesion contributions to the EU. The aim is to connect NGOs, civil society organisations and activists, and to provide them with a space for exchange, cooperation and collective action.
What the project entails:
The project will run for two years and is being closely supported by the Swiss Democracy Foundation as the Swiss partner organisation. Our role involves facilitating methods for needs assessments, mentoring the coalitions, helping to shape course content and supporting advocacy work at EU level.
We look forward to working with the Group for Social Dialogue and to jointly creating a space where Bucharest’s and Ilfov’s civil society can come together.
